Man Down

Felt like drawing some anthros that didn't look Sonicy for a change xD Also, last night I got really inspired to draw something war-themed after listening to this group of songs-

The two pictured here are completely random characters. A Border Collie and a German Shepard. Though they were just random characters that were my subject to draw at the time, I've really become attatched to them and have even started giving them a bit of a backstory and even names. I'll probably draw a reference featuring them both soon.

*GASP* I actually attempted a background for once! It's still...a little... I dunno, plain I guess |D; I could have drawn like...something else in the background, but I thought that a lone American flag would be sufficent.

I dunno exactly what those are...Ravens? Blackbirds? I leave it to your imagination They're just fitting spacefillers really xD Also, I was kinda going for a bit of a...misty, battlefield look. It might have even been snowing a bit, and the ground they're on was just scuffed free of snow.

The outfits aren't really based on particular army uniforms |D; I kinda just made them up on the spot really. Just gave them things that fit their personalities.

I really enjoyed this. <3 It was overall very fun to draw and color.
