Okami: Battling Ninetails

This is easily one of my favorite Okami fanarts to date. Ninetails is one of my all-time favorite bosses, and to top it off I actually got this recorded as a speedpaint! Some of the video was lost, but I got the main chunk of my coloring, which is about 4 minutes long once sped up. It'll be on Youtube either later tonight or tomorrow

VERY hard character to draw though. At first I had eight tails drawn and was freaking out as I tried to place the ninth one.

A few minutes of drawing later, and I recounted the tails.


...Somehow there were ten.


*cue headdesk*

But FINALLY I have nine tails in all. The background is a bit rushed seeming and sloppy, so forgive that

WHY

It was SO hard to get right. I have no idea what possessed me to draw her standing like that but...there you go. XD I love how it ended up turning out anyway~
